June 16-17: SPECIALIST CAMP

Athletes entering 9th through the 12th grades may attend the Ron Zook Specialist Camp, the lead instructor for which is former All-Big Ten kicker Tim Williams . The camp will focus on the fundamentals of kicking, punting, and long snapping. June 21: 7-ON-7 TEAM SHOOTOUT

High school teams are encouraged to enroll in the Ron Zook 7-on-7 Shootout. The Shootout brings together over 100 teams from several states for a day of intense and enjoyable competition. Please fax (217-265-8122) or email (sumcamps@uiuc.edu) a complete roster of participants to the Summer Camps Office before competition starts on June 21. To assist, please use the attached 7-on-7 Team Roster Form.


June 21: LINEMAN CAMP

The Lineman Camp, scheduled in conjunction with the 7-on-7 Shootout, provides an intense learning opportunity for offensive and defensive linemen. Athletes entering the 9th through the 12th grades may participate in the 2008 Lineman Camp. Offensive linemen study fundamentals in run and pass blocking, while defensive linemen focus on defeating run blocks, pass techniques, and pursuit.


June 21-22: QUARTERBACK CAMP

High school quarterbacks have a tremendous opportunity to receive instruction from Coach Mike Locksley, one of the most innovative tacticians in the nation, and his staff. Fundamentals such as ball handling pass drops, throwing mechanics, and mental toughness will be covered in the two-day camp.


June 27-28: PARENT/CHILD CAMP

Athletes ages 5 to 14 are encouraged to attend the parent/ child overnight Illini camp with their parent(s). Campers do not wear helmets or shoulder pads; instead, players and parents are schooled in the fundamentals of the sport through a variety of enjoyable drills, games, and contests. All participants are lodged in University housing.


June 28: WOMEN'S CLINIC

Women ages 21 and older are invited to attend the Women's Clinic to learn more about football in a one-day clinic hosted by the University of Illinois coaching staff. This "no men allowed" event will feature optional light physical activity as participants learn the fundamentals of drills and rules with the coaching staff, tour the Illinois football facilities, and ask questions during the player's panel. Snacks will be provided, and there will be door prizes.



* Parents/Guardians must complete and sign an Emergency Medical Information Form in order to finalize a camper's registration and participation in camp activities. This form is included in the confirmation mailing. A copy of this form is available at the links above; signature is necessary.

Specialist Camp: $350 per camper ($300 for commuters)
7-on-7 Shootout: $300 per team (15 players); $10 per additional player
Lineman Camp: $50 per camper
Quarterback Elite Camp: $130 per camper (residents only, no commuters)
Parent/Child Camp: $170 per pair ($135 per pair for commuters)
                                      additional children: $75 ($60 for commuters)

Quarterback Elite Camp: Grades 9-12 for Fall, 2008
